Trip brief

A trip you can send

Where, which neighbourhood, which airport, and the transit sheet — one page to forward to whoever is booking. Not a reservation.

Build the brief from a destination you already like

Find My Trip picks the place. This page is the object you send: a neighbourhood to start from, the arrival airport, and the cheat sheet if we have one. Switch the area if the other person sleeps differently to you.

Pick a destination, or start from Find My Trip and tap Send this trip on a match.

The ranked list is not what people forward

Find My Trip is useful when you are still choosing. The moment someone else has to book, they need a shorter object: the city, a neighbourhood that will actually work, the airport the flight is likely to use, and how to get into town. That is this page.

Areas and transit notes come from the same guides as the stay pages and cheat sheets. They are a starting pick — not a promise that this is the only good street, and not a live hotel quote. Confirm rooms and tickets on the partner site.

Trip brief FAQs

What is a trip brief?

A one-page planning card for a destination you already like: neighbourhood, arrival airport, transit notes, and one stays link. Send the link or the picture. It is not a booking, a ticket, or a live price.

How do I send it?

Copy link puts the current destination, area and airport in the address bar so the other person opens the same brief. Share card uses the phone share sheet when it can send an image; otherwise it copies or saves a PNG. The picture still says planning brief, not a booking.

Does every destination have a neighbourhood and cheat sheet?

Most Find My Trip destinations now have three neighbourhoods and an arrival airport from the stay guide. Transit cheat sheets stay on the city breaks we already published. Sydney still sends as a place plus stays and flights links until that guide has area cards.

Is the neighbourhood a recommendation I must follow?

No. It is a starting pick from the stay guide — first-visit, beach or family bias where we have it. Switch the chips before you send if you already know you want the other side of town.

Does sharing put my details in the URL?

The link includes destination, origin city from the list, month, area and airport. It does not include your typed Find My Trip brief.
